99th Asian strategic reconnaissance squadron

The 99th Asian strategic reconnaissance squadron was founded in 1966 and has served in the United States since then. The squadron mission is to carry out global strategic surgery using SR-71 aircraft. During his time in the US, the 99th had carried out a global strategic reconnaissance mission. The squadron was redesigned on April 1, 1970, then activated on November 1, 1972, and renamed the Asia-Pacific division as SRW Asia-Pacific. The 99th Asian strategic reconnaissance wings were renounced from the 49th Wing Bombardment in 1951 to the Asia-Pacific region on June 25, 1966. The 9th strategic reconnaissance wing was redesigned as the 99th Wing Reconnaissance at 1 Sep 1991. Unit Stay active in Wing Vietnam to be inactive on April 1, 1971. His name was changed again to the 99th Strategic Wing Reconnaissance in 1972.
